This evening, Maxwell had guests for dinner! Black rhinos are solitary by nature, but he has a special friendship with these wild warthogs and often invites them into his domain. This is also a lovely display of trust on Max’s part. He is permanently blind, as a result of a congenital eye condition. Because of this, he would not survive in the wild and has a permanent home with us. He is a beloved (and very spoiled!) member of our Nursery family. To learn more about Max, visit: sheldrickwildlife
