Jul 15, 2011 · This includes rom1.bin,rom2.bin,erom.bin and a SCPH-XXXXX.nvm file where XXXXX is the version of your bios (eg SCPH-34004.nvm).This last file can be also created from PCSX2 after you configure your bios (set time zone, language etc) but it's better if you have this file directly ripped from your Playstation 2.

08-22-2010, 03:13 AM. Yes there is a best. We recommend GSdx and SPU2-X for the main plugins. For pads we recommend Lilypad. The rest doesn't matter much, except you'll need to decide on a CDVD source. (I have images of my games (made with imgburn) and use the built in iso loader.) Emulation settings are best left to defaults.
Is PCSX2 Software mode more accurate than PS3 emulating PS2?

For example PS3 SPUs are also non IEEE 754 compliant, and calculations in 95% don't require clamping, or any correction. But for example COP2 rearranging patches are required to be applied also on PS2 for games like FF2, or AC series.

Nov 12, 2018 · I know there have been threads regarding this issue, but I haven't been able to find a solution for this. I'm on Ubuntu 18.10 and have installed PCSX2 via repository. Everything runs fine, but when I want to run a game, PCSX2 tells me "DVD Player is not set up". So the CDVD Plugin is the CDVDnull Driver 0 0.6.0 [libCDVDnull].
