Registered: 2012-12-07. Posts: 2. AS the topic name suggests, my Desmume can't find my roms. The emulator was literally working this morning, I tried playing again a couple hours ago ad it can't find the files. I have a number of .nds games in my ROMs folder, but when browsing for a file non of them appear, even when I select "show all files."

Posts: 6. okay deleting desmume did the trick. i have figured out that the problem was something i changed in the emulator settings: you have to select "config", then "emulation settings" and then turn out "emulate ensata". When this option is turned off all my roms start without any problems.

Aug 25, 2008 · The illegal way to do it would be to download roms that you don't own. you might be able to get away with it on some older consoles, but i don't think pirates of nintendos most recent handheld baby will be free for long. as for the legal way to do it, you will have to own a DS and some games for it, and a few other materials.

Apr 25, 2007 · Of course, as you have started to learn, programming is about problem solving. Emulating the DS is a lot of work, and naturally, I work on a single feature at the same time. I select them following my personal criteria, of course, as this is a hobby for me, so work on games I prefer: this includes Metroid or Super Mario 64 DS, for example.

Except if "Boot From Firmware" is enabled, then DeSmuME will start off in the NDS menu (with the game loaded) instead of starting into the game directly. It all works fine for me in v0.9.11. Okay, I know it's not possible to transfer pokemon from Pokemon GBA games (Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed and LeafGreen) to Pokemon D/P/P games thru Pal Park because DeSmuMe only reads GBA roms, not save files (GBA Slot).
