The Princess of Wales has told how love shines bright “even in our darkest times” ahead of her annual Christmas carol concert, which will see her joined by fellow cancer sufferer Sir Chris Hoy and the young survivors of the Southport attack.

Kate Middleton is sharing a heartfelt letter reflecting on her year ahead of the Christmas season. Her letter was announced via Instagram on Saturday, November 30, alongside black and white photos of the Princess of Wales’ neat signature at the bottom of the message.

Love is the light that can shine bright, even in our darkest times. We all have something we can offer one another,” the beloved royal wrote.

In recent months, Kate Middleton has understandably been absent from the spotlight...for the most part. We did, of course, get her gorgeous Remembrance Day appearance and we got word of a hush-hush meeting at Windsor Castle.
