It’s finally Election Day in America. Polls are open, and millions of voters who have not yet cast a ballot will head to their voting sites as candidates nationwide wrap up their campaigns.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. If you are in line to vote at 8 p.m. you still will be allowed to cast your ballot.  Sign-up for Your Vote: Text with the USA TODAY elections team. It is not necessary in Pennsylvania to show identification to vote unless it is your first time voting at a new polling location.

One of the top races to watch today is the Indiana governor's race, where voters will choose who will replace term-limited Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb. Republican U.S. Sen. Mike Braun faces Democrat Jennifer McCormick and Libertarian Donald Rainwater in what has become an increasingly competitive race in the last month.
