PITTSBURGH — There is awkward, and then there is the scene in the Penguins’ dressing room following their hideous 6-1 loss at home to the Utah Hockey Club on Saturday at PPG Paints Arena.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby scored his 600th regular-season goal on Saturday in the team's first-ever game against the Utah Hockey Club. The Penguins captain scored the goal in the second period while the Penguins were on a 5-on-3 power play.

The 37-year-old is the 21st player to hit the mark and second active player to do so, after Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin, who has 868 goals. Crosby joined Mario Lemieux (690) as the only players to score 600 for the Penguins.
