A California man is facing federal charges for allegedly trying to board a flight to Australia with two suitcases full of clothing caked in methamphetamine. Raj Matharu, 31, of Northridge, was indicted on a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California.

A Northridge man is being indicted for allegedly checking in two suitcases at LAX that contained clothing caked in methamphetamine, including a cow onesie pajama.

The residue — which was found on items including socks, tank tops, sweatpants, jeans, hoodies, underwear and a pair of cow onesie pajamas — tested positive for methamphetamine, prosecutors say.
