DiFusco was a convicted felon in Connecticut for firearms offenses, Chitwood said. The incident began Thursday morning at Kingston Shores Condominiums at 5500 Ocean Shore Blvd. It was reported that DiFusco had shot at a deputy's vehicle from inside his condominium and also targeted neighboring units.
