Someone could potentially add hundreds of millions to their bank account while taking advantage of Black Friday sales and savoring some leftover turkey this year.

A Bergen County lottery player won $10,000 Tuesday night as the Mega Millions jackpot has reached the half-billion mark.

A lucky player might have a little extra to spend on holiday gifts come Black Friday if they play their numbers right for the post-Thanksgiving Day drawing.

With no jackpot winner in Tuesday’s Mega Millions lottery drawing, the grand prize has climbed to $514 million for Friday’s drawing. The winning numbers Tuesday were: 5, 22, 24, 39, 42 and Mega number 3.

For the fourth time this year, the Mega Millions jackpot lottery surpassed the half a billion mark on Wednesday.
