Playing their first game since Saturday, the Kings’ struggling power play saps any offensive momentum they generate and they lose for the third time in four games, 1-0.

When the Los Angeles Kings came to Buffalo back on Oct. 10, they “goalied” the Sabres with an average goaltender. Darcy Kuemper stood on his head, stopping 32 pucks in a 3-1 win in Buffalo’s home opener.

The Kings will have enjoyed three days between games by the time the puck is dropped on Wednesday night at Crypto.com Arena.
