Suriya's Kanguva became a huge disaster at the worldwide box office, which has reportedly affected its OTT release plans.

According to Sacnilk's early reports, Kanguva collected an amount of Rs. 0.79 Crore on Day 10 (Saturday) as of 10 pm.Therefore, the total collection as of now has been of Rs. 65.79 Cr. Will the movie manage to make 1 Crore or even cross it today?

Producer KE Gnanavel Raja’s earlier confidence now appears overly ambitious in hindsight. In a pre-release interview with Galatta, Raja dismissed any doubts about Kanguva’s potential, aiming sky-high.

Suriya was recently seen in a leading role in the movie Kanguva, which has been receiving mixed-to-negative responses from audiences and critics. Now, it seems the actor’s much-awaited mythological epic Karna has been let go by the makers.

Suriya's highly-anticipated film Kanguva saw a dismal performance at the box office. The film's second weekend collections don't seem promising, and all the hopes of its redemption at the ticket window seem baseless at this point.

Suriya's ambitious film 'Kanguva', directed by Siva, is struggling at the box office despite a strong opening. Released on November 14, 2024, the movie has earned Rs 64.92 crore in eight days, far below its Rs 350 crore budget.

In a bid to salvage the situation, reports suggest Suriya is considering a pay cut or even returning a portion of his fee. There’s also talk of him committing to a lower-budget project for Studio Green to help offset the deficit.
