The Washington Commanders fell short once again in a 34-26 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12 at Northwest Stadium. The loss marked the third straight for the Commanders, who fell to 7-5 after being one of the first five teams in the league to reach the seven-win mark.

Cooper Rush has spoken about finding a rhythm since he’s taken over for the injured Dak Prescott. He found it Sunday. Rush completed 24-of-32 passes for 247 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the win over Washington.

Austin Seibert missed his second extra point of the game with 21 seconds left after Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin connected on an 86-yard touchdown, Juanyeh Thomas returned the ensuing onside kick attempt for a touchdown and the Dallas Cowboys pulled out a 34-26 victory Sunday that extended the Washington Commanders’ skid to three games.
