New York City Mayor Eric Adams and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo are calling for an investigation into Democratic nominee for mayor Zohran Mamdani for identifying as racially “Black or African American” on a leaked college application despite being South Asian.

Zohran Mamdani, the Democrat running for mayor of New York City, was born in Uganda. He doesn’t consider himself Black but said the application didn’t allow for the complexity of his background.

Fox & Friends hosts jumped at the chance to bash New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani Friday after it was revealed that he identified as “Black or African American” on his college application.
