State Police have released a video of a car chase in Baton Rouge that ended with a Department of Public Safety officer shooting at suspects as their car charged toward him. The case continues under investigation.

One person was transported to the hospital in stable condition after a shooting in the 3400 block of N. Sherwood Forest Drive, according to EMS.

A man was arrested in connection to an officer-involved shooting in Baton Rouge, according to Louisiana State Police.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Michael Anthony Miller III, 22, was identified as a suspect in connection to an Oct. 12 shooting that left one person hurt. Miller was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Nov. 12 on charges of attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.

Three children were shot in a drive by shooting that happened on Swan Avenue near Southern University Wednesday afternoon. All three were rushed to the hospital.

About 2 p.m., a vehicle occupied by a mother and her five children was riddled with gunfire from a passing vehicle in the 1000 block of Swan Avenue, police said.

The Baton Rouge Police Department identified a child that died from injuries sustained in a shooting on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
