It's a busy stretch of Colorado weather, with the next storm system set to move in late Tuesday bringing snow to the Front Range and Denver metro area.

Light snow showers in the central and southern mountains were on and off all day, with the storm's energy mostly staying north of Interstate 70 and west of Interstate 25 from Fort Collins to Walsenburg, but east of the Sangre de Cristo and Sawatch ranges of southern and central Colorado.

Forecasters warned that potentially heavy snow could make travel difficult in some parts of the country on Halloween.
