Minecraft loses PlayStation VR support early 2025
It was big news four years ago when Mojang released a Playstation VR update to Minecraft. But VR interest has waned considerably since then, and now the studio says it's time to end the support: "Our ability to support PlayStation VR has come to an end, and will no longer be supported in updates after March of 2025."
Minecraft to lose PlayStation VR support
Minecraft will no longer be supported on PlayStationVR (PSVR) for PlayStation 4, Mojang announced in a website post. In a post related to Minecraft - 1.21.30 (Bedrock) on Minecraft.net, the Swedish game developer noted that it is ending Minecraft support for PlayStationVR (PSVR) in March 2025.
Minecraft Dropping PlayStation VR Support Next Year
A blog post detailed incoming changes to the console version of Minecraft and revealed those who enjoy playing with PSVR would no longer be able to do so as of next year. Any version of Minecraft on PlayStation updated with the presumed March 2025 update will no longer support PSVR at all.

Mojang Studios has announced that Minecraft will no longer support PlayStation VR next year. Hidden within Minecraft's most recent patch notes, the developer confirmed that as of March 2025, updates will no longer apply to the PSVR version of the game (via VGC).
