There was plenty of suspense when it came to Week 9. During the first eight weeks of the season, there were only four overtime games. That number was almost matched this week, with the Titans, Rams, and Chiefs needing more than four quarters to get a victory.

In a previous edition of our NFL power rankings, we wrote about how the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers made the NFC North the NFL's best division this season. That hasn't changed.

The Bills moved from fourth into second in the conference with their win. For the NFC, the big game was the Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions in the late afternoon window. The Lions’ win solidified them at the top of the conference and they have a half-game lead over the upstart Washington Commanders.
