Several groups will be offering hot meals, which is much-needed as many in the community may need extra support this holiday season amid hurricane recovery efforts.

Florida state parks: Open during regular hours, though three in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties are still closed due to storm damage. A couple to check out are Alafia River State Park (open 8 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.) in east Hillsborough County and Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park (open 8 a.m. until sundown) near Port Richey.
