A domestic violence suspect remains barricaded in an apartment complex in the south Natomas area, Sacramento police said. The scene unfolded at The Core Natomas apartments, located on the eastbound side of Interstate 80 at the West El Camino exit,

A police tactical team is now at the complex in the 2700 block of Orchard Lane in the Willowcreek neighborhood with crisis negotiators called in to contact the suspect barricaded inside one of the residences, Sacramento police said just after 6 a.m.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to the 2700 block of Orchard Lane off El Camino Avenue for reports of a domestic violence incident.
