Britain's Princess of Wales says that her cancer is in remission, following a visit to hospital where she received treatment earlier this year.

The Princess of Wales revealed Tuesday that her cancer is in remission, following treatment earlier this year at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

It seemed rather fitting that the Princess of Wales revealed she is in remission on the same day she visited the place she received her cancer treatments.

The Princess of Wales has made an emotional return to the hospital where she received her chemotherapy, as she hugged cancer patients and told of the challenges of getting back to normal life after treatment.

Kate said 'it is a relief to now be in remission' from cancer and she is 'looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead'
