The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 15-player squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Champions Trophy is scheduled to take place in Pakistan from 19th February to 9th March.

Mohammad Rizwan will lead Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025 and Saim Ayub missed his spot from Pakistan's 15-member squad for the mega event.

Pakistan Cricket Board will host the Champions Trophy opening ceremony on February 16 at Huzoori Bagh in Lahore. Ahead of that, the PCB officials will unveil the newly renovated Gaddafi and Karachi stadiums.

The prestigious tournament, which will run from February 19 to March 9, will feature eight of the world’s top ODI teams, including Pakistan, India, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Bangladesh,

Amid much speculation, the Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that the squad for the Champions Trophy would be announced today.

Though ICC ensured to keep a day reserve for the captains’ joint photo shoot, PCB reportedly cancelled the event citing the ‘unavailability of teams due to tight traveling schedules’.
