Just a few days before the long-awaited reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris to the public and to religious worship, Emmanuel Macron will be on hand this Friday, November 29, 2024, to preview the fully restored interior of the emblematic monument. The visit marks the culmination of five and a half years' work.

The iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is getting ready to reopen next month after more than five years of closure.

Visitors will be able to admire Viollet-le-Duc's restored spire, as well as the roofs of the nave and choir. Three themed tour routes will be offered, each enabling visitors to discover different facets of the cathedral, from religious heritage to works of art. Full guided tours and group access will be available from June 2025.
