Nets' Cam Johnson, Ben Simmons ruled out Friday vs. Spurs
The Nets announced prior to Friday's tipoff that forward Cam Johnson and guard Ben Simmons were ruled out despite both playing and finishing Thursday's win. Granted, Simmons will be missing Friday's contest due to his lower back injury management program while Johnson is missing the game due to a right hip contusion that he most likely suffered from hitting the ground following his dunk on Bucks center Brook Lopez.
Nets' Ben Simmons: Available, will suit up Thursday
Simmons was added to the injury report Wednesday, but he'll suit up and should handle his regular workload as a point forward. Simmons is averaging 6.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game since the beginning of December.
