Surprise, surprise – Nelly Korda is back in contention at the CME Group Tour Championship. The world No. 1, looking to close out her superstar-cementing season with back-to-back wins and a $4 million bonus, carded a bogey-free 66 that rocketed her into the top 5 in Naples.

Korda rebounded from an opening 72 with a dazzling 6-under 66 at Tiburon Golf Club on a sunny, windswept day in south Florida. The bogey-free round included a hole-out for eagle on the third hole. The World No. 1 headed to the range after Thursday’s round and came away with one simple swing thought.

Angel Yin had a 3-under 69 that gave her a two-shot lead in the CME Group Tour Championship and the chase for the $4 million prize. Four back was Nelly Korda, who rebounded Friday with a 66.
