Democrat Rachel Hunt wins NC lieutenant governor’s race
Democratic state senator Rachel Hunt won her first term in office, defeating Republican state official Hal Weatherman, according to election results from the Associated Press. She will succeed Republican incumbent Mark Robinson, who lost his bid for governor to Democratic state attorney general Josh Stein.
