Milwaukee Brewers All-Star pitcher Freddy Peralta dominated the Los Angeles Dodgers during a series-opening 9-1 victory.

Andrew Vaughn hit a three-run homer in his first plate appearance with his new team, Freddy Peralta threw six shutout innings and the Milwaukee Brewers trounced the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-1.

For the second time in his career, Freddy Peralta will represent the Milwaukee Brewers in the All-Star Game. Major League Baseball announced the All-Star Game reserves and pitchers on July 6. Brewers manager Pat Murphy revealed the honor to Peralta in front of the entire team.
