On the same day that TikTok was banned for several hours, Instagram announced a new video editing app named Edits.

Instagram on Sunday rolled out Edits, a video-editing product that appeared similar to CapCut, which is owned by TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance.

Instagram launched its own video editing app for phones which is called “Edits”. Here’s how it will benefit smartphone users and content creators.
