Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday released hundreds of government documents related to disgraced wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein, though most of them had been previously known to the public.

The material released contained previously published pilot logs from the prosecution of Ghislaine Maxwell. The records include redactions performed by prosecutors on the case to protect the identities of potential victims. Also published is Epstein's so-called "black book" that has previously been made public.

The DOJ pledged clarity on Epstein files but gave them to influencers first, sparking backlash over secrecy, public access, and the credibility of the release.
