Virat Kohli became the second Indian batter to cross 12,000 international runs during the first Test match against Bangladesh at M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday.

Kohli once again showed why is a favourite among the fans with his gesture for the crowd at Chepauk on Friday. During the second day's play at the Chepauk, the crowd started chanting ‘Kohli, Kohli’ just to get his attention.

Virat Kohli struggled to make an impact on his return to Test cricket as he was dismissed for six runs in the first innings of the Test match against Bangladesh in Chennai on Thursday. Kohli has scored just 302 runs in 16 overall international innings in 2024.
