Forecast confidence ticked upward slightly on Friday afternoon about the chances for snow in Alabama next week. If Alabama were to get any snow it would most likely be in the Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe, according to the weather service. There are a lot more “ifs” that forecasters will have to sort out.

Storm survey crews with the National Weather Service surveyed damage in Alabama Monday afternoon and confirmed 13 tornadoes after Saturday evening’s storms.

Colder-than-normal temperatures are expected to remain in Alabama, with a system bringing bitterly cold air into the state next week.
