Kliff Kingsbury will remain the Washington Commanders’ offensive coordinator despite interest from the New Orleans Saints and other teams during this head-coaching cycle, according to multiple reports. Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy also will not be the Saints’ new head coach this season, according to multiple reports.
McCarthy pulls out of Saints coaching search
Earlier in the day, Kliff Kingsbury pulled out of the search as well, decided to remain as offensive coordinator of the Washington Commanders. Previously, Aaron Glenn and Joe Brady rebuffed overtures from the Saints with Glenn choosing the New York Jets head coaching position while Brady opted to remain as offensive coordinator in Buffalo.
