Philadelphia Eagles veteran tackle Lane Johnson had some subtle shade for Los Angeles Rams edge-rusher Jared Verse on Sunday following their divisional round clash. The Eagles held off a late charge from the Rams to secure a spot in the NFC championship with a 28-22 victory. Before the matchup, Verse had caused a stir by calling out Eagles fans.

If the Eagles get an early lead and can lean on the run, the Rams will be in trouble. Even if they commit eight defenders to the box in an attempt to stop Barkley, they don’t necessarily have the athleticism at linebacker to chase him down on off-tackle runs, which could lead to big gains.

The Rams' pass rush followed up their nine-sack Wild Card performance with seven sacks in the Divisional Round, but it wasn't enough to come out victorious, as Philadelphia prevailed 28-22 at home.
