Michigan Gov. Gretchen is expected to deliver her seventh State of the State address on Feb. 26, about a month later than she has previously given the annual speech.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a second-term Democrat, and new state House Speaker Matt Hall, R-Richland Township, revealed the date for the event.

We’re told the speech will be delivered from the Michigan House Chambers before a joint session. It will be broadcast live across Michigan.
