Dry conditions are causing three eastern Iowa counties to put burn bans into place. Fire departments in several other counties are warning against open burning.

Several counties, including Bremer and Dubuque counties, are under a burn ban due to windy and dry conditions throughout the KWWL viewing area.

ZWINGLE — A Wisconsin woman is dead after a crash involving a semi near Peosta. Iowa State Patrol said Mariadivina Graziano, 25, of Milwaukee, was killed in a T-bone crash at 9 p.m. Friday. The police report said she was driving westbound on Skyline/Monastery Road and failed to stop at the intersection at U.S. Highway 151.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 9:07 p.m. on Friday at Highway 51 and Monastery Road in Dubuque County. Authorities say the driver of a 2016 Nissan died at the scene. The name is being withheld pending family notification.
