Federal ICE agents launched raids in New York City early Tuesday as part of President Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem tagged along as U.S. immigration agents raided at least two residences in the Bronx and arrested one alleged gang member. Despite the early hour, Noem still had time to apply a full beat and make sure her extensions were curled into perfect beachy waves.

Federal law enforcement officials from multiple agencies and their local partners swept into New York City early Tuesday to conduct U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in line with policy changes enacted by President Donald Trump.
