As announced on Monday morning, right guard Robert Hunt will be headed to Orlando, Fla. this week to represent the team in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. This is the first career Pro Bowl selection for the 28-year-old hog molly, who will be replacing Super Bowl-bound Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Landon Dickerson on the NFC squad.

Two other players with Alabama football roots were chosen for the Pro Bowl Games but are not participating – Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson (Alabama) and Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (Alabama).

The second half of Pro Bowl Games does include a football game, but it is no longer a game of tackle football. Now it’s a 7-on-7 flag football game, punctuated by four more skills competitions: EA Sports Madden NFL 25 Challenge, Punt Perfect, The Great Football Race and Tug-of-War.

Eagles offensive lineman Landon Dickerson has replaced an injured Cam Jurgens at center in the starting lineup for Sunday's NFC title game.

Jurgens, who made his first Pro Bowl team this season after taking over for longtime Eagle Jason Kelce, plays a critical role in Philly’s infamous “Tush Push,” a virtually unstoppable quarterback sneak play with Jalen Hurts in short-yardage situations.

Dickerson hadn’t snapped the football in a game since Sept. 29, when he handled seven. Philadelphia used Nick Gates for 12 snaps during a November game, then had him go all the way in the regular-season finale, when the Eagles sat many of their starters in preparation for the playoffs.

According to Jalen Hurts, winning can look different in any given week, even if that means the passing game takes a backseat and he remains in his so-called straitjacket. That wasn’t the case on Sunday in the Eagles’ NFC championship win over the Washington Commanders.

The Eagles held their second practice of the week on Thursday and the injury report looked pretty much the same as the last one.
