The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former Indianapolis Colts running back Evan Hull, the team announced. Huil joins the Steelers as one of three running backs now under contract for the 2025 season. Aaron Shampklin was also re-signed to a reserve/future contract.
Hull couldn't overcome his rookie injury or backups Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson, relegating him to practice squad status in Indianapolis in 2024. The Steelers will put Hull into contention on the back end of the running back depth chart as a pass-catching specialist who can also block well for quarterbacks in pass-pro.
CINCINNATI — There was plenty of speculation that the Bengals would host the first ever NFL regular season game in Berlin next season. The NFL announced that the Colts will play in that game instead. The Bengals don't play the Colts next season, which means the the only other international game that Cincinnati could host is Madrid.
