Jamie Lee Curtis has taken to Instagram to address the chaos surrounding the devastating wildfires currently raging across California.

Wildfires continue to tear through the Los Angeles area, devastating thousands of acres and forcing even more people to flee their homes. As relief efforts are just getting underway, some of Hollywood’s most prominent stars are coming together to help those in need.

Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) is stepping up in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires that continue to burn. Curtis has donated $1 million toward a relief fund for those impacted by the Southern California wildfires.

Us Weekly reports that the rock group has committed $2.5 million to FireAid, a benefit event scheduled on January 30 at the Intuit Dome. The concert's proceeds will support an organization established to aid in infrastructure reconstruction in Los Angeles. As of Wednesday, CNN estimated that 12,300 structures have been destroyed or damaged.

Stars like Jay Leno, Beyoncé, Sharon Stone, Jamie Lee Curtis and more are stepping up to help California residents affected by the ongoing fires.

As wildfires continue to ravage the Los Angeles area, celebrities from all industries have come together to help

Beyoncé is donating $2.5 million through BeyGood, the charity said on January 13 via Instagram. “The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires,” BeyGood wrote in the caption of the post.

Celebrities have taken to social media to send out prayers for the Los Angeles fire victims. But others have written large checks like Kim and Paris.
