More than 200 passengers of a Delta Air Lines flight bound for Minneapolis had to evacuate at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) on January 10, 2025, due to reported Boeing 757 engine issues.
Flight 2668 had 201 passengers onboard, who were evacuated from the plane via emergency slides and taken back to the terminal via ground transportation, according to officials.
Southwest Airlines, the second-largest carrier at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, also issued a waiver, warning that flights may be delayed, diverted or canceled in Atlanta and other cities by Winter Storm Cora from Wednesday through Friday.
