The Robert. B. Lewis Stakes (G3) is a Southern California Kentucky Derby prep race that has been dominated in recent years by Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, who has won the last six editions among his 12 victories in this Santa Anita Park race.

A little more than a week after he was formally announced as the Eclipse Award-winning 2-year-old male of 2024, Citizen Bull kicks off his 3-year-old campaign Feb. 1 in the $200,000 Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita Park.

In addition to the above trio, Baffert also trains six of the other nine Santa Anita-based sophomores that were part of the Derby future wager. The remaining two 3-year-olds, Journalism and Bullard, are trained by Michael McCarthy.
