Dayquain Sinisterra was sentenced to 35 years in prison for offenses connected to his participation in the 960 gang, a violent Waterbury gang, officials said.

Dayquain “Quan” Sinisterra, 27, and other 960 gang members, participated in murders, drive-by shootings, drug trafficking and other violent crimes.

Waterbury police have identified a suspect in the fatal shooting at a Waterbury rental hall in May and they are asking anyone who has information on where he is to contact them. The shooting happened at So Blu’Niq on Sharon Road around 1:20 a.
