Americans living in Paris cast their ballots in the U.S. election “straw poll” at Harry’s Bar, a hundred-year tradition that has correctly predicted the outcome of the election all but three times. The poll began in 1924 when Americans living abroad could not vote by proxy.

Former President Donald Trump is heading back to the White House after being reelected, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in a race that was as close as expected. Trump, 78, will begin his second term early next year after losing his first reelection bid to Joe Biden back in 2020.
