BYU won the 2024 DI men's cross country team title, finishing with 124 points. It's the first title for BYU since 2019. With the win, BYU became the first team since 2004 Colorado to sweep the men's and women's team titles.

The 2024 NCAA cross country championships took place this Saturday morning on ESPNU and ESPN+. Unfortunately, the network's coverage of the event went sideways in a hurry. This year's cross country championships were held in Wisconsin at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.

The team competition was all BYU in the early stages. At 5K, the Cougars had all five scorers in the top 31, but Iowa State chipped away at the lead in the back half. BYU’s buffer, however, was enough. They scored 124 points to win the overall title, pulling off a sweep with the women’s team.
