Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart issued an apology to his teammates, coaches and fans following the loss to Florida on Saturday.

Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss saw their College Football Playoff hopes come to an end on Saturday as they fell 24-17 at Florida.

Ole Miss football walked out of Gainesville becoming the latest top 10 team to go down. The Florida Gators picked off Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart twice in stunning the No. 9 team in the nation 24-17 Saturday.

Dart spent his first season with USC but elected to transfer out following the hiring of Lincoln Riley as the team's head coach. He ultimately decided on Oxford and Lane Kiffin. Dart recently sat down with On3 where he discussed his journey to Ole Miss and how it has benefitted his career.

Ole Miss had a chance to tie the game with under two minutes left but quarterback Jaxson Dart made an awful decision throwing into triple coverage. The 39-yard pass attempt was picked off in the end zone by Bryce Thornton with 1:32 remaining in regulation.
