Nebraska became eligible for a bowl for the first time since 2016 after beating Wisconsin for the first time in eleven meetings on Saturday.

Dylan Raiola threw for 293 yards and a touchdown, Dante Dowdell ran for three scores and Nebraska beat Wisconsin 44-25 on Saturday to become eligible for a bowl for the first time since 2016.

Nebraska’s bowl drought is over. The Huskers earned their sixth win of the season on Saturday at Memorial Stadium, beating Wisconsin 44-25. It was their first win over the Badgers since 2012, and clinches bowl eligibility for the team for the first time since 2016.

Then it happened. A Memorial Stadium crowd still occupied by most of those who were still standing where they were when the game began joyfully - and loudly - unleashing their frustrations with the battle cry at the top of the page.

Nebraska produced a touchdown and field goal in a 15-second span to end the first half to extend its lead over Wisconsin to 24-10 into intermission on Saturday. Dylan Raiola threw for 159 yards, going 17-for-22 and finding six different Husker receivers in the first half.
