Minneapolis City Council Member Emily Koski announced her candidacy for mayor, seeking to unseat Jacob Frey at a time she says the city is "at a crossroads."

Koski announced her campaign on Wednesday morning, just two days after state Senator Omar Fateh announced his campaign for Minneapolis mayor.

She joins Minnesota DFL Sen. Omar Fateh and the Rev. DeWayne Davis of Plymouth Congregational Church in challenging Mayor Jacob Frey, who’s running for reelection.
