Legendary former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is reportedly being linked to multiple teams ahead of the next NFL head coaching cycle.

Coach Doug Pederson is expected to be let go, opening the door for a potential Belichick landing. Jacksonville boasts a franchise quarterback in Trevor Lawrence, though the team has struggled to build around him.

Troy Aikman told “The Musers” on Sportsradio 96.7 FM/1310 The Ticket (KTCK-AM) Thursday that, even though he’s a fan of Mike’s, if he’s gotta go, Belichick is the guy. He can’t believe he’s still available. Maybe people were scared off by his age. Or his resting face. But he’s just 72, right? You’ve got bunions older than that.

The Athletic's Diana Russini wrote in her weekly "what I'm hearing" column Saturday that she asked 10 NFL coaches and executives to name the best landing spot for Belichick next season. Russini noted that three teams were mentioned most frequently: the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
