Severe flooding from Hurricane Helene has submerged Asheville's historic Biltmore Village in North Carolina. The area is experiencing significant damage, power outages, and road closures. Over 200 people have been rescued statewide.

More than 200 people were reported rescued from flood waters in North Carolina following Helene’s torrential rains with more expected in the coming days. Water levels in the Biltmore Village of Asheville reached the first story of many buildings.

Now, the area is experiencing historic flooding thanks to Helene and is largely underwater.
