For Seattle fans wanting to travel for the Super Bowl, some airlines are adding extra flights to the Bay Area.

SEATTLE - People heading to and from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport may want to check their flight status as dozens of cancellations and delays tick up heading into the end of the weekend.

Nearly 40 flights were canceled at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by 9 a.m. Monday, with more possible by the end of the day, an airport spokesperson said.
