Meta Connect is right around the corner. We're confident that Meta will announce the new Quest 3s budget-friendly virtual reality headset. It sounds like a device that borrows some of the features from the older Quest 2 and the more expensive Quest 3 to create a headset with a lower financial barrier to entry.

The next Meta Quest VR headset, the Meta Quest 3S, will be priced at $299.99, the same price as when the Meta Quest 2 released four years ago

Also notably changing from second to third-generation Quest headsets are each temple’s built-in speakers. The Quest 2 has one speaker per temple, whereas the Quest 3 has two — each positioned to deliver immersive 3D audio at 40% louder volume.
